Full Bio (approx. 180 words)

Heather Abbott, BBA, CPA, is a speaker, author, and advocate for prosperity and healthy relationships. Blending over two decades of financial expertise with lived experience as a survivor of emotional abuse, she helps individuals and organizations foster wellbeing through understanding, clarity, and compassion.

After 25 years in a controlling marriage that ended tragically when her first husband took his own life, Heather transformed her pain into purpose. Today she speaks openly about the hidden barriers—like shame, confusion, and stigma—that keep people from seeking help, and she teaches how language, education, and empathy can save lives.

Through her company, Prosperity & Possibilities Presentations Inc., Heather bridges practical insight with emotional awareness, helping audiences experience both financial and personal freedom. She is known for her heart-centered presentations that inspire reflection, healing, and change.

Heather is available for interviews, keynotes, workshops, and panels throughout Domestic Violence Awareness Month and year-round.

Heather recorded this in one take in October 2021.

More than 6 years had gone by since he died in her presence, June 20, 2015.

She finds it notable that she never had a nightmare about that day, but would have nightmares he was back alive and having to try to run or escape from him.

As of posting this, October 15, 2025, the last nightmare was the night before recording this video.
It seems to have freed her on a deeper level.
